Drilling file holes fully automated
The automated paper drilling system Dürselen PB.09 joggs and drills
- piles of loose leafs,
- piles of perfect bound books,
- piles of stitched brochures and
- piles of folded sections
up to 50 mm pile height at an output up to 1,200 piles per hour.
The paper drill is equipped with continuously variable stroke and spindle speed. Thus it can be adapted to different materials and hole diameters. The cooling and lubrication system for the drill bits provides long service life for the bits and clean drilling results.
The Dürselen drill belt is used as drilling support. It is the economic and drill bit saving alternative to conventional drill sticks or card board strips. The piles are fed in lying position which ensures short jogging cycles and prevents damages even on delicate materials.
The automated paper drill PB.09 delivers constant output and constantly high quality. With this machine paper drilling becomes an economic and calculable operation. The machine is suitable for all common file hole patterns, with special multi-spindle drill heads also for hole patterns with narrow spacing. It runs as well as a stand-alone-system as in-line with other equipment, e.g. perfect binders or packing machinery.
