Machine's cycle

  1. Entrance of the signatures into the 2 pre-calender rollers (to take the air out).
  2. Calender (option) with high pressure and forming of the stream.
  3. Side joggers to align the stream of signatures.
  4. Entrance of the stream into the belts running around the drums to overturn it and lay it on the row forming table.
  5. Formation of the row.
  6. Row separation through point and ogive.
  7. Row transport into the pressing/strapping station.
  8. Manual feeding of the boards, pressing and strapping of the bundle.
  9. Unloading can be done manually or through an electronic manipulator.

Machine's set up

  1. Loading of products specifications in the PLC (through touch screen).
  2. Setting of the pre-calender rollers.
  3. Setting of the main calender pressure or exclusion of it if not needed.
  4. Side jogger adjustment to size and adjustment of transporting belts.
  5. Side adjustment of the overturn belts and of the springs holding the signatures.
  6. Adjustment of the row separation group (point and ogive).
  7. Adjustment of the pow pusher (depending on the size of bundle to create).
  8. Positioning of the round bars (extension to the semi-automatic guide).
  9. Adjustment of the board holder.
